Should Britain Leave The EU - Debate

Should Britain Leave The EU - Debate

This is the Spectator debate on whether or not Britain should leave the EU.

The debate is chaired by Andrew Neil and the panellists are split into two groups.

People persuading us for a BREXIT:

  • Dan Hannan
  • Nigel Farage
  • Kate Hoey

And the Better Together group who want us to remain in the EU:

  • Nick Clegg
  • Liz Kendall
  • Chuka Umunna
The question I want to know is where is David Cameron?

Surely as the Prime Minister of the UK and the person who has set up the referendum as well as the person who thought his "new deal" with the EU would prevent us from leaving. Surely he should be centre stage making the argument for us to stay and telling us how his "deal" will change our minds?

What do you think of the debate. Has it changed your point of view on whether to vote to leave the EU or to stay in?

Remember to vote at the top of the page!

  1. I will be voting to stay, with the threat of ISIS, we need co-operation with our EU partners and anything that could affect security in a bad way is something I don't want to risk. We don't know what will happen for sure either way so why risk it at this time

  2. Your stupid, we would have more secure borders, more ability to prevent EU migrants that could be ISIS sleeper cells with EU passports that we would have to admit if we stayed, and the ability to still share info with the EU and US through NATO. No-one is saying we have to stop co-operating with the EU on security. We just don't need to belong to an undemocratic super-state to do it.
